"I was then referred to a second Cardiologist who specialized in left chamber ablations. That Doctor performed the next two Ablations, March, 2007 and June, 2007. Once again I spent three to five additional days in ICU after each procedure. The A Fib/flutter still persisted.

I was finally referred to a second Cardiologist, Dr. H. James Wang. The first procedure was performed in March, 2010 and the second in July, 2010. It is now October 2011 and there have not been any recurrences.
I have now been off of Blood Thinners since January, 2011.

One additional aspect I would like to mention that I believe to be very important.
The first two Doctors took me off of Blood Thinners four days prior to each procedure and I was kept in the Hospital, on Heparin, until the Blood Thinner medication again accumulated in my system. Each time, after discharge, it required several additional days to recover.

With Dr. Wang, I remained on Blood Thinners right up to the procedure and was discharged the next morning, less than 24 hours after being admitted. I felt excellent afterward with no adverse aftereffects.

My since and heart felt Thanks to Dr. Wang, his staff and assistants. Not only were the procedures successful but I was treated very well by everyone, and, when an impromptu office visit was required, I was accommodated immediately. Without reservation, I would highly recommend Dr. H. James Wang, MD, FACC."

"I met Dr. Wang in the spring of 2011 to discuss atrial ablation for my atrial fibrillation. He explained the procedure to me including the likelihood of success as well as possible complications. I underwent the procedure which was successful. He was direct, kind and considerate. About a month later, I developed atrial flutter. He recommended another atrial ablation procedure as the best method of converting me back to sinus rhythm. Again, the procedure succeeded and I have been in sinus rhythm since. Dr. Wang is straightforward in his approach and skilled in the procedure. I would not hesitate to undergo any procedure with him and I would recommend him to my family and friends."

In June of 2009, I had open heart surgery to repair my mitral valve. After the surgery, I wound up spending 9 days in the hospital mainly because they couldn't get my heart back into a normal rhythm. I was finally released and sent home taking pacerone orally to keep me out of atrial fibrillation. I was also on coumadin therapy. Over time, I was able to ween off of the pacerone and my heart was in normal rhythm until July of 2010 when I went back into atrial fibrillation. I went back on pacerone and coumadin for a period and then went back into normal rhythm after a couple of weeks. I stayed in rhythm for a while, but eventually went back into atrial fibrillation. I had heard about Dr. Wang in the hospital after my surgery when another cardiologist mentioned that I might need an ablation. I was told that he was the best in the area at the ablation procedure. So after the frustration of going in and out of rhythm so many times, in March 2011 I decided to call Dr. Wang on my own to see if he could repair my heart. At my first appointment, I was very impressed with Dr. Wang, he was very courteous and spoke in a professional manner. He recommended that I have the ablation and said he could do it that week and within one day, my procedure was scheduled. I had the utmost faith in his ability and never had any regrets over my decision to have the procedure done. Everything went very smoothly the day of the procedure. Dr. Wang was right on time, and once again, he was very professional in his conduct at the hospital. My procedure was a complete success and it's been about nine months that I have been in normal sinus rhythm. I have told several people about Dr. Wang since my procedure and highly recommend him for anyone having abnormal heart rhythm issues. I continue to see Dr. Wang to this day as my regular cardiologist because I am so impressed by him and his knowledge. In addition, the entire staff at Complete Cardiology Care are very courteous and they all conduct themselves in a very professional manner which I truly appreciate.

I am a 56 year old woman. I have had undiagnosed afib for ten years. For the most part I was asymptomatic, with random episodes of fainting. Finally, in December of 2009, my heart went into afib at the doctors office while I was at an annual check up . For the next year I went from trying drug treatments, (which aggravated my condition ) to a specialist in Orlando who attempted to correct the condition with two ablations. The procedures seemed to make my afib worse, as I was now having irregular and high heart rate episodes daily with more severe symptoms, my resting heart rate was 164.

I was referred by my new primary physician to Dr. H. James Wang. I was told that he could fix what other electrophysiologists couldn't. I was doubtful, but went with hope that my heart could be normal. I met with Dr.Wang on Monday August 1st, he knew immediately that I had a problem. I was admitted into the hospital that week and he went to work. For this reason I refer to Dr Wang, as a "MOA" (Man of Action). Dr. Wang was everything one hopes a doctor would be: attentive, decisive, and aggressive. He was hopeful that the first procedure would be enough, but was not convinced. At my 6 week follow up (my heart was in perfect sinus) he said "we will see if I killed the nerve or just wounded it". Sure enough, two weeks later I was back in his office with afib issues... Back to the hospital, this time Dr Wang knew the exact site of my adversary and was ready to end my debilitating issue with afib.

That was three months ago, last month I was in a 5K race and finished with out passing out! I take my pulse everyday and it has been normal. I am so thankful for Dr. Wang and the expertise that he brings to the battle.

The hospital and his team are an extension of his excellence and add to the positive experience.
